Past and current collaborators include:

> An active collaboration with Dr. Michael M. Burgess and Dr. Kieran O’Doherty on designing, holding and evaluating deliberative public engagements event on emerging biotechnologies.

> An active collaboration with Dr. Julia Abelson from McMaster University, on the project Media Saturated Publics.

> A past collaboration with Dr. Stephen Ward’s Science Journalism Research Group at UBC. This project investigated issues related to the public communication of controversial science, with a focus on genomics and gene therapy. We helped to support the project with an interest in the implications of the results for the democratic role of science journalism in Canada.

> A past collaboration with Dr. Brian Gabrial and Dr. Simon Bacon from Concordia University’s Department of Journalism and Department of Exercise Science, respectively. Together we held a Health Journalism Workshop in November 2008 to discuss the current state of health media. We have held other workshops together as well and hope to hold more in the future.
